- I made a pretty little mod top for Lily - it's red white and blue to match the girly bloomers I made for her (and also my hair scarf and blouse). Can you see the squished blackberry on her leg? Yes, we went blackberry picking.

We had lots of fun at Lyon Farms - it was approx 20 minutes from Durham and a nice countryside drive. Their address is 1544 Munns Road, Creedmoor NC 27522 in Granville County, (919) 528-3263.
At first we actually ended up at the Lyon's home instead of their farm...so be sure to call first for directions. Apparently somewhere on the web, either Mapquest or Google Maps has the farm's address wrong...the homeowner mentioned they've been trying to get that map fixed forever. Nice lady who had pretended to not mind us touristy-looking-city-folk in her driveway, and pointed us to the farm. :)
Other than the tresspassing, other good times we had last weekend include:
- Joey and Lily rode in a 4th of July bicycle parade (I'll post pix later)
- Joey has a potty chart now and he also asked to use the potty twice yesterday!
- We grilled for the very first time in our new home
- Lily took 6 strong little steps!
- We brought Aleethea out with us and enjoyed the 4th of July "olee mazee" -- all together
